Dark Fury

The project for this seven-string guitar started with a very simple body design, which was combined with the idea of modelling the top to give movement to the surfaces.

The flamed maple top, stained black/purple, characterises this instrument, so much so that it has been christened ‘Dark Fury’.

A mahogany body stained black, a flamed maple neck stained with fossil amber varnish, a 24-fret ebony fingerboard, a 25.5″ custom nacre inlay at the 12th fret with the logo of the band Anticlockwise, a band in which the talented Pietro ‘Pacio’ plays.

The neck is screwed to the body by means of bushings and metric screws to ensure perfect sound transmission between the parts.

Original Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, EMG 707 TW dual mode pickups powered at 9Volts, 3x switch,

Hi-gloss final coat of paint completes the instrument.

The result is a guitar that is easy to play, immediate response, light, accessible even at the 24th fret and with a remarkable sustain that allows prolonged and deep sounds as required of a seven-string.
